Excellent flavour, but drier than I like - which is also a problem with the whole sticks and is the reason why I tend not to buy droewors in 500g packs anymore. Still, pretty good - but don't leave it too long - possible sawdust.
I've lived away from south Africa for more years than I care to remember, but I have never found a better source of biltong and droewors, despite several concerted attempts. I'm always blown away by the fact that I can specify exactly what I want - and, more often than not, get what I asked for. Absolutely delicious, entirely authentically flavoured and dangerously more-ish. Something I cannot do without for very long, which drives me back to Susman's again and again, and that has been for upwards of 30 years I guess. Long may the relationship last!!
