Looking for premium steaks online? Our 21 Day Dry Aged Scottish Sirloin Steak is made using premium quality beef from cattle raised on the lush pastures of Aberdeenshire, in the North East of Scotland. Only the very best cattle from traceable herds of genuine Scottish origin are eligible. Our beef is dry-aged and matured for 21 days to give it enhanced flavour and consistent tenderness and succulence making it a unique and delicious eating experience.
The dry-ageing process is the ‘old method’ of ageing meat and has become rare due to the expensive nature of the process. The meat is hung for a month in a controlled and closely watched refrigerated environment. Cuts used are generally the loin, ribs and rumps as they have the best effect when dry-aged. The process helps to intensify the flavour of the meat and results in less shrinkage when cooked.
Note that these dry aged sirloin steaks will be sent by DPD for next day delivery from dispatch. These are sent out frozen but packed in a Thermo Bag with ice, we cannot guarantee that you will receive the steaks fully frozen.
